Solo Exhibition "Ultra" opening on Saturday September 6th at Galerie Mazzoli

I’m very happy to invite you to the opening of my solo exhibition Ultra at Galerie Mazzoli on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 6 pm. It’s my second solo show at the gallery’s Berlin space and presents a new body of marble reliefs and sculptures. Ausstellung "Glanz und Schweiß" in der Kunsthalle Görlitz

Glanz kann spiegeln, funkeln, blenden. Er kann glatt sein oder fettig, hart oder verführerisch weich. Schweiß kann riechen, kleben, tropfen – oder glänzen, wenn das Licht ihn trifft. Die Werke in dieser Ausstellung berühren Themen wie Genuss und Erschöpfung, Arbeit und Konsum. Sie zeigen glänzende Oberflächen und unsichtbare, schweißtreibende Anstrengung.

Receipient of the Bernhard Heiliger Grant 2025

I am happy to be selected as a receipient of this years Bernhard heiliger grant for young berlin based sculptors together with my colleague Esther Rosenboom. for this occasion we will present our works in an exhibition at kunsthaus Dahlem, bernhard heiligers former Studio, this autumn.

Exhibition "Would Stones Dream of the Future of Us?" at Goethe Institute Beijing

From February 9, 2025, the Goethe-Institut China will be showing the exhibition "Stones of the Future", curated by Fu Congle and Quan Huo especially for the Grey Cube. The exhibition presents the stones as a storehouse of time and history and invites visitors to walk with them - from the formation of mussels to the end of the world and the re-creation of the universe. On the day of the opening, there will also be a discussion between the science fiction author Chen Qiufan and the artist He Zikeder, followed by a screening of the film "Journey to the West" (science fiction). The exhibition uses karst-like mountain and rock formations to create a collection of caves of the future. Karst landscapes, which are crisscrossed by relief-like, free-standing rocks, invite you to wander and fantasize with their diverse caves and sinkholes, revealing sealed secrets from the depths of ancient times. With the sounds of bursting glaciers and videos from the inner workings of caves, the exhibition poetically shows the past and present rooted in prehistoric times. It sheds light on how time was once stored in the geological structures and how future people will one day dig up the present buried in the ground. This raises the question of whether we can imagine a different future than before if we view the mountains as repositories of time and memory.

winner of the Kunst am Bau Competition for the new elementary school at Elsenstraße Berlin

Happy to be selected as the winner of the Kunst am Bau competition for the new elementary school building at elsenstraße in Berlin-mahlsdorf. I am looking forward to realize my project together with the school community in a participatory process. In the end I will transform drawings based on workshops i will hold in the classes of the school into bronze wall pieces.

Groupshow "you have unlimited potential. i disagree" at zilberman gallery Berlin

With the Young, Fresh, Different (YFD) format, Zilberman has been promoting emerging artists at its Istanbul location since 2010. The exhibition aims to give young artists more visibility in the art scene and to open a dialogue between them and a gallery. This year, YFD will take place at Zilberman | Berlin and Zilberman | Miami for the first time. The artists for the 1st edition of Zilberman | Berlin's open call series are: Danilo Andrés, Elisa Jule Braun, Yuni (Hoa Yun) Chung, Abie Franklin, Pavlos Ioannides, Lukas Liese, Luka Naujoks, Marlies Pahlenberg, Leniko Sennoma, Ryke Turin, and Zhiyuan Yang. You say I have unlimited potential. I disagree, is dedicated to the subject of potentiality. The title questions, in a gesture of resistance, the presumed premise of an allegedly limitless potential that extends to different areas of life, such as work or health. Within the realm of art, potentiality initially manifests itself as a driving force, a dynamic energy that drives creative exploration and innovation: In their search for new talent, gallerists and collectors weigh up the potential of emerging artists. New, unusual places and spaces for art are discovered, created and expanded. Artists explore the potentials of different materials and test the boundaries of traditional art genres. But they don't stop there; they also work with what is perceived as having no potential – the unusable, the forgotten, the overlooked – and constantly renegotiate what that means.

Opening of "You Are Here", 9. Landschafftkunst Biennale on September 2nd

I’m happy to be part of the ninth edition of the LandSchafftkunst Biennale opening on saturday September 2nd at 2 pm in neuwerder/brandenburg. I will show two works in the exhibition alongside Niklas Apfel, Daniel Hölzl, Christin Kaiser, Wendelin Kammermeier, Zhenru Liang, Fabian Anselm Orasch, Marion Orfila, Emma Pidre, Niclas Riepshoff, Finja Sander, Lion Sauterleute & Oded Yones, Benedikt Terwiel, Shelley Tootell and Lilly Urbat. I’m happy to be part of the Groupshow “Unravel at Night” which opens on July 7th at Studio hannibal in berlin. “Unravel at Night”shows works by artists which deal with the resistance of cyclical processes, time, dissolution and decay. The supposed meaninglessness of destroying what has been created before, but also the process of working slowly, continuously and repetitively, can enable the works to poetically and politically reflect on the present age.

Sculpture permanently on view in Rome

If you are in rome you can now see a sculptur of mine permanently on view in the museum vite di imi.
The museum is dedicated to the 650.000 italian soldiers, who where taken into german captivity in september 1943. they than refused to collaborate with the germans and subsequently where brought to labor and concentration camps in germany and where forced to work for many different companies.
50.000 of the died during the years of forced labour. the museum with its memorial courtyard commemorates them.
